۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
