3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
