۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 and they have enraged us, 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
