۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
