۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
