۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
