۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
