The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
