The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
