The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 therefore, judge decisively between me and them; and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122
