And those who disbelieve say: when we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we, for sooth, be brought forth? 67 "Indeed we were promised this, we and our forefathers before, Verily, these are nothing but tales of ancients." 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 And grieve not over them or be in distress from what they conspire. 70 And [when] they ask, "When is this promise [of resurrection] to be fulfilled? [Answer this, O you who believe in it,] if you are men of truth!" 71 Say: Maybe there may have drawn near to you somewhat of that which you seek to hasten on. 72 Verily your Lord is gracious to men, though most men are ungrateful. 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 for there is nothing [so deeply] hidden in the heavens or on earth but is recorded in [His] clear decree. 75 Indeed this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel much of what they are at variance. 76 It is a guide and mercy for the believers. 77 Verily, [O believer,] thy Sustainer will judge between them in His wisdom - for He alone is almighty, all-knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; surely you are on the clear truth. 79 You cannot make the dead to listen, or the deaf to hear the call, when they have turned their backs, 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none to hear, save those who believe Our revelations and who have surrendered. 81 ۞ When God's word is justly carried out against them, We will produce a dabbah from the earth which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our signs. 82
