I shall receive my reward from the Lord of the Universe. 127 Do you construct on every elevation a sign, amusing yourselves, 128 And do you take to yourselves underground reservoirs, in order to live for ever! 129 And when ye seize, ye seize like unto tyrants. 130 Have fear of God and obey me. 131 And be careful of (your duty to) Him Who has given you abundance of what you know. 132 Who has provided you with flocks and children 133 And gardens and watersprings. 134 indeed, I fear for you the torment of an awful day." 135 They said: "It is the same to us if you warn us or do not warn. 136 This is naught but a custom of the ancients; 137 And we are not going to be punished. 138 And they denied him; therefor We destroyed them. Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 139 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 140
