I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 125 so fear you God, and obey you me. 126 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 127 Do you build on every height a monument? Vain is it that you do: 128 Erect palaces (thinking) that you will live for ever, 129 And when ye seize, ye seize like unto tyrants. 130 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 131 and [thus] be conscious of Him who has [so] amply provided you with all [the good] that you might think of 132 Gave you increase of cattle and sons, 133 gardens, and springs. 134 indeed, I fear for you the torment of an awful day." 135 They replied, "It makes no difference to us whether you preach or do not preach, 136 "This is no other than the false-tales and religion of the ancients, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 19, Page 97] 137 And we are not to be punished." 138 So they rejected him; and We destroyed them. There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them would not believe. 139 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 140
