The people of Lot rejected the Messengers, branding them liars. 160 Behold, their brother Lut said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 161 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 162 Have fear of God and obey me. 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 Do you, in the world, want to have carnal relations with males 165 And leave what your Lord has created for you as mates? But you are a people transgressing." 166 They said: If thou cease not, O Lot, thou wilt soon be of the outcast. 167 He said: verily I am of those who abhor your work. 168 [And then he prayed:] "O my Sustainer! Save me and my household from all that they are doing!" 169 Thereupon We saved him and all his household 170 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 171 then We destroyed the others. 172 And rained on them a shower (of Stones). How terrible was the rain (that fell) on those who had been warned! 173 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 174 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 175
