Truly, it is the sending of the Lord of the Worlds. 192 With it came down the spirit of Faith and Truth- 193 Upon your heart, [O Muhammad] - that you may be of the warners - 194 (a revelation) in clear Arabic language, 195 Truly, it is in the Books of the ancients. 196 Is it not a token for them that the doctors of the Children of Israel know it? 197 If We had revealed it to a nonArab, 198 they would still not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused it to enter the hearts of the sinners. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful torment; 201 So that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not. 202 Then they will say: are we to be respited? 203 Do they, then, [really] wish that Our chastisement be hastened on? 204 Have you then considered if We let them enjoy themselves for years, 205 then there comes on them that they were promised, 206 All that with which they used to enjoy shall not avail them. 207 Never have We destroyed a town without sending down messengers to warn it, 208 as a reminder from Us: We are never unjust. 209 It was not the devils who brought down the Quran: 210 they are not supposed to do so. Nor do have they the ability for such a task. 211 Indeed they are debarred from even hearing it. 212 (Muhammad), do not worship anything besides God lest you suffer the punishment. 213 And warn thy tribe of near kindred, 214 And lower thy wing (in kindness) unto those believers who follow thee. 215 but if they disobey thee, say: "I am free of responsibility for aught that you may do!" 216 And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 217 Who seeth thee standing forth (in prayer), 218 And your turning over and over among those who prostrate themselves before Allah. 219 Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 O people, shall I tell you on whom it is that satans descend? 221 They come down to every mendacious sinner, 222 The devils convey upon them what they heard, but most of them are liars. 223 And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them: 224 Did you not see that they keep wandering in every valley? 225 And that they say what they do not do. 226 Except those who believed and did good deeds, and profusely remembered Allah, and took revenge after they had been wronged*; and soon the unjust will come to know upon which side they will be overturned**. (* The Muslim poets who praise Allah and the Prophet. ** The disbelievers will be punished.) 227

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
