Those who do not believe, say: "When we and our fathers have turned to dust, how shall we be raised again? 67 We have certainly been promised this, we and our fathers before; these are naught but stories of the ancients 68 Say: Travel in the earth, then see how was the end of the guilty. 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 And they ask: 'When will this promise come, if what you say is true' 71 Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you. 72 But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful. 73 Lo! thy Lord knoweth surely all that their bosoms hide, and all that they proclaim. 74 And naught there is hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Indeed this Qur’an narrates to the Descendants of Israel most of the matters in which they differ. 76 and it is a guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 And verily thine Lord shall decide between them with His judgment, and He is the Mighty, the Knowing. 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 You cannot make the dead to listen, or the deaf to hear the call, when they have turned their backs, 80 And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [submitting to Allah]. 81 ۞ And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. 82
