۞ It is God who has created you weak, then, given you strength after your weakness and caused you to become weak and old after being strong. He creates whatever He wants. He is All-knowing and All-powerful. 54 And on the day when the Last Day is established, the guilty will swear that they did not stay except for an hour; this is how they keep straying. 55 But those who were given the knowledge and belief will say: "You have tarried, according to the Book of God, as long as the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection, but 'you do not know." 56 On that Day the excusing of themselves will not profit those who did wrong, nor shall they be suffered to please Allah. 57 Verily We have coined for mankind in this Qur'an all kinds of similitudes; and indeed if thou camest unto them with a miracle, those who disbelieve would verily exclaim: Ye are but tricksters! 58 In this wise Allah sealeth the hearts of those who believe not. 59 So have thou patience; verily the promise of Allah is true. And let not make thee impatient those who have no conviction. 60

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
