We verily gave Moses the Scripture; so be not ye in doubt of his receiving it; and We appointed it a guidance for the Children of Israel. 23 And when they became steadfast and believed firmly in Our revelations, We appointed from among them leaders who guided by Our command. 24 On the Day of Resurrection your Lord will distinguish between them that on which they varied. 25 Does it not guide them [to see] how many generations We destroyed before them, among whose ruined dwellings they now walk about? There truly are signs in this -- will they not listen? 26 Have they not seen that We drive the water to the barren land and cause crops to grow which they and their cattle consume? Why, then, they will not see? 27 And they say, "When will this judgement come, if you are telling the truth?" 28 Proclaim, “On the Day of Decision*, the disbelievers will not benefit from their accepting faith, nor will they get respite.” (* Of death or of resurrection) 29 So turn aside from them (O Muhammad SAW) and await, verily they (too) are awaiting. 30
