O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and wives of the believers that they should draw over themselves some of their outer garments [when in public], so as to be recognized and not harmed. God is most forgiving and most merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease (evil desire for adultery, etc.), and those who spread false news among the people in AlMadinah, cease not, We shall certainly let you overpower them, then they will not be able to stay in it as your neighbours but a little while. 60 They shall have a curse on them: whenever they are found, they shall be seized and slain (without mercy). 61 Such has been God's way with those who have gone before them. You shall find no change in the ways of God. 62 PEOPLE will ask thee about the Last Hour. Say: "Knowledge thereof rests with God alone; yet for all thou knowest, the Last Hour may well be near!" 63 Verily, Allah has cursed the disbelievers, and has prepared for them a flaming Fire (Hell). 64 therein to abide beyond the count of time: no protector will they find, and none to bring them succour. 65 On the Day when their faces shall be tossed about in the fire, they will exclaim, "Oh, would that we had paid heed unto God, and paid heed unto the Apostle!" 66 And they say: Our Lord! Lo! we obeyed our princes and great men, and they misled us from the Way. 67 O our Sustainer! Give them double suffering, and banish them utterly from Thy grace!" 68
