And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 Indeed your Lord will gather them all together. Surely He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
