Y S (Yaa Seen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya-Sin. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom, 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 on a Straight Way, 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 Undoubtedly, it (their disbelief) has proved true for most of them, so they will not believe. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 We will surely bring the dead to life and We record what they send ahead and the signs they will leave behind; and We have accounted all things in a clear Book. 12
