Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ya Sin. 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism). 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 Verily We have placed on their necks shackles which are up to the chins; so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 It makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they will not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 We shall surely raise the dead to life and We record what they did and the traces of their deeds that they have left behind. We have encompassed that in a Clear Book. 12
