If We grant long life to any, We cause him to be reversed in nature: Will they not then understand? 68 AND [thus it is:] We have not imparted to this [Prophet the gift of] poetry, nor would [poetry] have suited this [message]: it is but a reminder and a [divine] discourse, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth, 69 that he may warn whosoever is living, and that the Word may be realized against the unbelievers. 70 Have they not seen what We have created from the labor of Our own hands? We have given them cattle. 71 And have subjected the animals for them, so they ride some animals and eat some? 72 And therein they have advantages and drinks; will they not then be grateful? 73 And yet they have taken gods, other than Allah, so that they might be helped! 74 They (the appointed Gods) cannot help them; and they and their armies will come (to Us), as captives. 75 Let not their words grieve you. We have knowledge of all that they conceal and all that they reveal. 76 Beholdest not man that We have created him from a sperm? Yet lo! he is a manifest disputer? 77 He strikes for Us a similitude and forgot his own creation. He says: “Who will quicken the bones when they have decayed?” 78 Say, "He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing." 79 He Who has made for you the fire (to burn) from the green tree, so that with it you kindle (fire). 80 Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the likes of them? Yes, [it is so]; and He is the Knowing Creator. 81 When He wills a thing He has only to say: "Be," and it is. 82 So exalted is He in whose hand is the realm of all things, and to Him you will be returned. 83
