Whoever reaches old age, We reverse in natural disposition. Do they not have sense (to see)? 68 We did not teach him (to wit, the Messenger) poetry and it does not behove him. This is none but an Admonition, and a Clear Book 69 To warn whoever is alive and justify the word against the disbelievers. 70 Do they not see Our handiwork: We created for them cattle which they own? 71 and that We have subjected them to men's will, so that some of them they may use for riding and of some they may eat, 72 From cattle they get milk and other benefits. Will they not then give thanks? 73 But they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that perhaps they would be helped. 74 They are not able to give them succour; whereas they shall be against them host brought forward. 75 Muhammad, let not their words annoy you. We certainly know whatever they conceal or reveal. 76 Hath not man seen that We have created him from a drop of seed? Yet lo! he is an open opponent. 77 He questions Our Resurrection of him, but has forgotten his own creation. He has said, "Who will give life to the bones which have become ashes?" 78 Say: He will give life to them Who brought them into existence at first, and He is cognizant of all creation 79 [It is] He who made for you from the green tree, fire, and then from it you ignite. 80 Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the likes of them? Yes, [it is so]; and He is the Knowing Creator. 81 When He wills a thing, His command is to say to it 'Be', and it is! 82 Therefore glory be to Him in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things, and to Him you shall be brought back. 83

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
