The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 And those who restrain by reprimanding, 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty). 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, 9 But if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge], he shall be pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Are they stronger in constitution, or those We created? We created them of clinging clay. 11 Aye! thou marvellest, and they scoff. 12 And when they are admonished, they receive not admonition. 13 And when they see a sign, they ridicule 14 and say: 'This is nothing but clear sorcery' 15 They say, "Shall we be brought to life again after we die and turn into dust and bones? 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 There will only be a single jerk, and they will gape, 19 And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.” 20 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." 21
