The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the rangers ranging 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 Then those who recite, being mindful, 3 Indeed, your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun's risings. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 And to protect it from every rebellious devil. 7 These satans cannot listen to what transpires in the High Council for they are pelted away from every side 8 To make them flee, and for them is a never-ending punishment. 9 Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him. 10 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Are they stronger in constitution, or those We created? We created them of clinging clay. 11 (Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations). 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff, 14 And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15 Why - after we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 16 And our forefathers [as well]?" 17 Tell them: “Yes; and you are utterly helpless (against Allah).” 18 There will be but a single blast and then their eyes will open. 19 And they shall say: O woe to us! this is the day of requital. 20 This is the Day of Judgment which ye were wont to belie. 21
