The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages] ranged in serried ranks, 1 By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way. 2 Then those who recite, being mindful, 3 surely your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with stars as ornaments. 6 and have made them secure against every rebellious, satanic force, 7 These satans cannot listen to what transpires in the High Council for they are pelted away from every side 8 They are rejected and theirs is an everlasting punishment; 9 Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 and when they are reminded [of the truth,] they refuse to take it to heart; 13 and if they see any Sign, they laugh it away 14 saying, "This is plain sorcery!" 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 Or our fathers of yore? 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 Then it will be a single (compelling) cry; and behold, they will begin to see! 19 and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense' 20 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
