The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those (angels) ranged in ranks (or rows). 1 and restraining [from evil] by a call to restraint, 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah). 5 Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty). 6 (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits, 7 So that they are not able to listen to the angels of higher (echelons), and are pelted from all sides 8 Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement, 9 but if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge,] he is [henceforth] pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 But you wonder, while they mock, 12 When they are reminded, they do not pay heed, 13 and when they become aware of a [divine] message, they turn it to ridicule 14 And say, "This is not but obvious magic. 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Say: Aye! and you shall be abject. 18 Then it will be a single (compelling) cry; and behold, they will begin to see! 19 They will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 “Yes, this is the Day of Final Decision that you used to deny as a lie.” 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
