The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by (the angels) who stand in ranks, 1 And those who drive [the clouds] 2 And those who recite the message, 3 Indeed your God is surely only One. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and of what between them is Lord of the Easts. 5 He decked the nearest heavens with ornaments of stars, 6 And as protection against every rebellious devil 7 so they cannot listen to the High Assembly, for they are pelted from every side. 8 To make them flee, and for them is a never-ending punishment. 9 Except him who snatches off but once, then there follows him a brightly shining flame. 10 Then ask them whether they are stronger in creation or those (others) whom We have created. Surely We created them of firm clay. 11 Nay! you wonder while they mock, 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff, 14 and they say, 'This is nothing but manifest sorcery. 15 They say, "Shall we be brought to life again after we die and turn into dust and bones? 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Tell them: “Yes; and you are utterly helpless (against Allah).” 18 There will be a single stern rebuff and lo, they will be observing with their own eyes (all that they had been warned against). 19 and they say, 'Woe, alas for us! This is the Day of Doom.' 20 This is the Day of Separation, which ye used to deny. 21
