3/4 Hizb 45

And Nuh did certainly call upon Us, and most excellent answerer of prayer are We. 75 And We rescued him and his family from the great distress (i.e. drowning), 76 And his offspring! them We made the survivors. 77 and left for him among the later folk 78 Peace be upon Nooh, among the entire people. 79 This is how We reward the virtuous. 80 Surely he was of Our believing servants. 81 Then We drowned the others 82 ۞ Of his party was also Abraham; 83 when he came unto his Lord with a pure heart, 84 Behold! he said to his father and to his people, "What is that which ye worship? 85 Is it a calumny, gods apart from God, that you desire? 86 “So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?) 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 Then said: Lo! I feel sick! 89 and at that they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said: 'What do you eat? 91 What is the matter with you, why do you not speak?” 92 And he turned upon them striking them with the right hand. 93 whereupon people came to him running. 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 while it is Allah Who has created you and all that you make?” 96 They said, "Let us build a fire and throw him into the flames". 97 (This failing), they then sought a stratagem against him, but We made them the ones most humiliated! 98 And he said: "I am going away to my Lord who will show me the way. 99 My Lord, give me one of the righteous.' 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear. 101 And when (his son) was old enough to walk with him, (Abraham) said: O my dear son, I have seen in a dream that I must sacrifice thee. So look, what thinkest thou? He said: O my father! Do that which thou art commanded. Allah willing, thou shalt find me of the steadfast. 102 But as soon as the two had surrendered themselves to [what they thought to be] the will of God, and [Abraham] had laid him down on his face, 103 We called to him, saying: 'O Abraham, 104 you have confirmed your vision' As such We recompense the gooddoers. 105 That was indeed a trying test. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram); 107 And We left for him among the posterity: 108 'Peace be upon Abraham' 109 That is how We recompense the righteous: 110 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaq, a Herald of the Hidden, from among those who deserve Our proximity. 112 and blessed him and Isaac too: some of their offspring were good, but some clearly sinned against their souls. 113
