3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah called to Us; and how excellent were the Answerers! 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great affliction. 76 and We made his seed the survivors, 77 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations to come in later times: 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all the worlds' 79 That is how We recompense the righteous: 80 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 81 Then We drowned the disbelievers. 82 ۞ Abraham was one of his followers. 83 He turned to his Lord with a sound heart 84 When he said to his father (paternal uncle) and his people, “What do you worship?” 85 “What! You desire, through fabrication, Gods other than Allah?” 86 “So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?) 87 Then he looked at the stars, looking up once, 88 He then said, “I feel sick (of you)!” 89 All the people turned away from him 90 Then turned he to their gods and said: Will ye not eat? 91 "What is the matter with you that you speak not?" 92 And then he fell upon them, smiting them with his right hand. 93 whereupon people came to him running. 94 Abraham said to them: “Do you worship what you yourselves have carved with your own hands 95 and God created you and what you make?' 96 They replied: 'Build for him a building and cast him into the fire' 97 And they designed a snare for him, but We made them the undermost. 98 He said: 'I will go to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 (And he prayed:) "O Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 So We gave him tidings of a gentle son. 101 When his son was old enough to work with him, he said, "My son, I have had a dream that I must sacrifice you. What do you think of this?" He replied, "Father, fulfill whatever you are commanded to do and you will find me patient, by the will of God". 102 But as soon as the two had surrendered themselves to [what they thought to be] the will of God, and [Abraham] had laid him down on his face, 103 We cried unto him: O Ibrahim 104 you have confirmed your vision' As such We recompense the gooddoers. 105 Indeed, this was the clear trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 And We perpetuated (praise) to him among the later generations. 108 "Peace be upon Abraham!" 109 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 110 For he was one of our believing Servants. 111 So We gave him the good news of Isaac, apostle, who is among the righteous. 112 And We showered Our blessings on him and on Ishaq; and of their offspring are the doers of good, and (also) those who are clearly unjust to their own souls. 113
