We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and at night.
