Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
