Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
YA SIN. 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 We have set-up a barrier in front of and behind them and have made them blind. Thus, they cannot see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
