And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
