Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say, "It (facts about the supremacy of God) is the greatest message, 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
