We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night.
