We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
