THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
