And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
