Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
