And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
