O People who Believe! Fear Allah in the manner He should rightfully be feared, and do not die except as Muslims. 102 Hold fast to the cord of God and let nothing divide you. Remember the blessings He has bestowed upon you; you were enemies and then He united your hearts and by His grace you became brothers; you were on the brink of an abyss of Fire and He rescued you from it. Thus God makes His signs clear to you, so that you may find guidance. 103 Let there be one nation of you that shall call to righteousness, ordering honor, and forbidding dishonor. Those are the prosperous. 104 So be not like those who became disunited and differed among themselves after clear proofs had come to them. For them is great suffering. 105 On the Day when some faces are bright and some faces are dark, it will be said to those with darkened faces, "Did you reject faith after accepting it? Taste, then, this punishment for having denied the truth!" 106 But as for those whose faces are whitened, they shall be in God's mercy, therein dwelling forever. 107 These are the commandments of God We recite to you verily; God does not wish injustice to the creatures of the world. 108 Allah's is whatsoever is in the heavens and in the earth; and unto Allah shall be committed all affairs. 109
