We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
