Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
