We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
