And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
