We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
