We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
