And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
